The hotel's location is perfect for exploring places like the local zoo and the beautiful Yarra Valley. We enjoyed walking around the quaint town, and the kids loved the nearby parks where they could run free and play.
My kids wished for a playroom or safe indoor area.

Delightful hotel, good views and location is marvellous just off Melbourne and night life and the restaurant and bar. The rooms are great-sized and terrific, equipped with tea making facilities and tea/coffee. The staff are very very helpful and provide a great service. The English bar is a nice plus...

We greatly enjoyed rooms with access to a balcony. The location was good and fab, enough to stop the noise which was from the outdoor area downstairs! The service was friendly and the food was excellent.

Oh mate, Healesville's got some delicious local eats! the Harvest Farm is a must-try for fresh produce, and don't miss the Cherry Tree Cafe for a cheeky brekkie. Plus, the room was spotlessly clean with that historic vibe-so cozy! On the flip side, it was a bit noisy with rowdy guests, so maybe turn off the mini-fridge while you snooze. Still a top spot for a getaway!

Indulgent steam showers: The steam showers in the bathrooms were like a luxurious spa experience, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
Noisy pipes: The pipes in the communal bathroom and shower were quite loud, causing water hammer noise throughout the night. It disrupted our sleep and made for an unpleasant experience.

Mountain views and natural light: I felt like I was waking up in a postcard, with the sun streaming through the windows and the majestic mountains in the distance. It was truly a breathtaking sight. Indulgent steam showers: The steam showers were like stepping into a spa retreat. The warm steam enveloped me, melting away any stress and leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.- Crisp white linen and handmade soaps: It was like being wrapped in a cloud of luxury. The soft and pristine white sheets made me feel like royalty, and the local handmade soaps added a touch of indulgence to my stay.- Gourmet dining and extensive wine list: The dining room was a culinary paradise. I savored each bite of the seasonal menu, perfectly paired with a glass of wine from their extensive selection. It was a feast for the senses.
Traffic noise and crawling in the roof: The only downside was the traffic noise outside the hotel. Trucks idling in the middle of the night woke us up multiple times.
